Judi Silvano
All of the arts come together in Judi Silvano’s body of work. Her early focus as a dancer and classical singer shifted to writing and singing jazz when she moved to NYC in 1976, with a deep study in the art of improvisation. After moving up to the Mid-Hudson Valley in 1993, she began to study painting in Oil, Watercolor, Pastel, Acrylic and Encaustic (wax) media. She presents her very personal view of the inspiring people and places she has experienced, whether musicians, dancers or natural landscapes, with the same commitment to movement and the human spirit.
